The Park Workshop
● About
Where creativity runs free
The Park Workshop is a creative writing program for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Young writers gather outdoors to develop their craft, think freely, and engage thoughtfully with their own and others' work.
Through reading, discussion, and writing, students build confidence in their voice while becoming part of a creative community. All experience levels are welcome.
“Instructions for living a life: Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.” - Mary Oliver
● Programs
Current workshop
Students will read, write, and discuss writing in a supportive workshop environment limited to 10 students. Each week includes free writing, discussion, and creative exercises designed to develop both craft and confidence. Together, we'll explore four key themes—observation, voice, place, and character—before spending our final two weeks workshopping and revising original pieces.
